What is expected of me as an Investigator?

Your Expertise: review potential studies to determine feasibility
-
Your Time: read protocol, attend kickoff meetings, review labs/ECG’s, etc

Your Responsiveness: respond to e-mails / calls / text within 24 hrs

Your Patients: spend 5-10 minutes to inform your patients of study; help keep them in the study once enrolled

Your Dedication to study: help ensure enrollment goals are met/exceeded, give study priority on your schedule, etc
How much time will participating in clinical research take?
Most of the study visits should not take any longer than a regular patient visit. However, there are annual & per-study time commitments for training, document review/signatures, monitoring visits, etc. We will work hard to remove most of the administrative tasks associated with research so you can maintain your regular work load.
